However, they easily get dirty and sometimes turn from white to an ugly cream or yellowish color. This happens because of sweat or improper washing, but guess what? There is a fix!

1. White vinegar
White vinegar, not only brings back the original white color, but also helps soften the your white clothes. So, you’ll save on using fabric softener. All you need to do is mix half a cup of vinegar with one liter of water. Then soak the clothes for 40 minutes and you’re done.
2. Detergent and hydrogen peroxide
Use this trick to whiten wool and delicate fabrics. Mix 1/4 cup of detergent with 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide and 2 liters of water. Submerge the garment for 30 minutes and then wash as normal. Make sure you use a good quality detergent.
3. Baking soda and lemon
This is more efficient in getting rid of sweat stains in the armpit area. Spread a tablespoon of baking soda on the stain and then rub with a lemon wedge. When the lemon has released its juices, let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse.
4. Slices of lemon
Lemon is ideal for whitening clothes. Cut two lemons into slices and put them in one liter of boiling water. Submerge the garments and let them soak for 40 minutes. Then, continue with your regular washing cycle.
5. Hydrogen peroxide and ammonia
Before applying this trick, you should know that chemicals are not good for delicate garments, so be careful when using them. Mix 4 drops of ammonia and 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide in 1 liter of water. Then, place the garments you wish to whiten in the mixture for 10 minutes and rinse as usual.
6. Raw milk
Milk is perfect for whitening tablecloths and curtains, because it will also leave them extremely soft. Remember to use raw milk and leave the items submerged for 1 to 2 hours, this is more than enough.
7. Detergent, lemon and salt
This mix is best for removing sweat stains on the armpits or collar. Mix the juice of three lemons, 1/4 cup of detergent and a tablespoon of salt in 2 liters of water. Then, let the items soak for 40 minutes and rinse as usual.
